Grant Readiness
Applying for Foundation grants is a big step in your nonprofit. To write a successful and compelling application, one will reference 10-15 materials, and a grantor may request 3-10 of those documents alongside your application. We'll help you make sure that your nonprofit is fully ready for successful grant seeking by combing through your documents and making sure they're in tip-top shape.
We'll identify any missing documentation, make recommendations for improvement on existing documents, and if needed, connect you with the right resources to create any missing documentation.

Our Approach
Our approach to grant writing works, because we know how funders talk. We speak their language of numbers, data, budgets, etc. But we also speak YOUR language - values, community, impact, storytelling. When we write grants, we merge the two languages, allowing us to draft compelling proposals.
Here’s are the tenants of our grant writing approach.
Community-Centric Validation: We meticulously research and gather data about the communities you serve, validating the problems you aim to address. This substantiates your cause in the eyes of potential funders, enhancing your grant proposal's credibility.
Simplified Communication, Preserved Vision: We specialize in simplifying complex projects while retaining your unique vision and approach. By translating intricate concepts into easily digestible language, we ensure that reviewers, no matter how distant from your project, fully comprehend your objectives.
Detail-Oriented Budgeting: Just as the devil lies in the details, we are your fine tooth comb. Crafting comprehensive and detailed project budgets is our forte. We ensure that every financial aspect aligns seamlessly with your grant proposal, leaving no room for ambiguity.
Amplified Project Impact: Impact isn't just a word – it's a driving force. We conclude a grant proposal by emphasizing your project's potential impact. By vividly portraying the transformative effects of your initiatives, we help funders recognize the real-world change your project can bring.
Grant Writing
Our Grant Writing Retainer service, with a minimum 6-month commitment, begins with an in-depth review of your programs, mission, vision, and research to write compelling grant proposals. We then write and submit grants over the course of our 6-month retainer, ensuring a steady flow of funding opportunities for your nonprofit. The number of grant applications written and submitted will be determined during the discover phase and depends on a number of factors including but not limited to:
The amount of programs that need funding
Level of Grant Readiness
Budget
At the end of the 6-month retainer, we will have a good idea about how your proposals are performing. IF we are unsuccessful at securing grant funding for your organization, we will conduct a strategy overhaul. Our team will review all supporting documentation, descriptions, budgets, evaluation plans, and supporting research. Then we will make recommendations about how to shift your grant seeking strategy.
